Unable to upgrade tbc -> wotlkTue, 12/02/08 00:29:23 GMT
Hello all, I've been trying to upgrade from TBC to Wotlk everyday since Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday, Monday and I've been getting this error message every single time:

You've encountered an Error!



We're sorry but there has been an error with your request!

If you have already purchased a retail copy of World of Warcraft, you can enter your retail authentication key at the bottom of the Account Management home page.


I've emailed blizzard but now I have been waiting for 5days and I'm sick and tired of it, so i thought ill give the forums a try! Please may you help me I'm dieing to test out Wotlk expansion!! Having a real bad and booring time at school, lol:) need something fun to do at home!

Hi Fiddllee - my Billing team hero wasn't able to find any emails from you from the registered email address. We are refusing your payment it seems and you will need to contact the Billing team for more information about this.

Arrora, the problem may not be something identifiable as being 'on your side' but there can still be a problem.

If we're refusing payment, rather than your bank refusing payment or there not being enough funds, that can be seen to be a problem on our side.

But the problem may be that we need more information because there is a discrepancy between your payment and account information. Or the name on your account is obviously false. Or something else I can't currently think of :)

You may not see that as a problem 'on your side' but we'll still need information to resolve it before we can accept the payment.

Subscriptions are handled differently, so yes we can still refuse one off payments like an upgrade, but accept the subscription.

We have your emails and they've been correctly assigned to the right queue now. :)

Because your payment was refused. Please contact the Billing team for more information about this.
